The BobCat is the newest, flashest model to hit the warehouse! With sick new colour ways and a new slick inspired by the blue collar working class, we bring you a new, fun variation of the fat cat. The Bob Cat comes with a strongly refined ‘diamond’ rail. WTF is that you ask? For those unsure of what a diamond rail is, imagine the rail of a bodyboard. That’s what we’ve adopted here. Our riders love throwing spins and radical slides on these things, Jed is even doing spins into the barrel. With this in mind we’ve added the diamond rail. This will make spins and slides more functional with less rail catching when sliding and spinning. It also bites in HARD when it’s put on rail. This seems like a natural progression to where you’re all taking surfing and we’re super excited to see what you can do with the new technology.    

The Fat Cat is based on the theory of a “planing hull” and compared to a traditional surfboard it is wider, shorter and flatter. It has a wide rounded nose, with a large single concave running the whole way through.These features combine to maximise planing area, while minimizing drag. This means you can get exceptional down the line speed off the weakest of sections. We’ve then given our Fat Cat a clipped tail which increases its hold in hollower waves, and allows better top to bottom surfing. It has a “Bones and Shanks” twin fin setup, but can also be ridden finless.  

The final product is an epic summer board capable spins, tail slides and shove its that will perform in summer slop, shoreys or point breaks.    Ideal for riders up to 80kg.  

Mullet Boards are designed in Australia, they’re shaped by professional shapers and tested prior to the manufacturing of production boards. Mullet have custom moulds set up for all our boards which are exclusively used by Mullet Boards.  Mullet worked closely with their shapers & manufactures to create a premium product that is a ideal for smaller waves without the extra length. Mullet Boards are the perfect addition to any quiver.
